ACCOMMODATION STYLE: HOMESTAY

stay-icon

What better way to learn the language and culture than to live with a host family. Host families provide a warm and welcoming environment, providing meals at the home as well as an opportunity to immerse yourself in everything the country and culture has to offer. Families come in all shapes and sizes and we match you based on common interests and personality, which means you could have a host brother or sister, be placed with another exchange student (two cultural experiences in one!), have a small host family or a large host family!

ORIENTATION: LOCAL ORIENTATION

orientation-icon

A local orientation will be provided by the local coordinator in your host community. The local orientation will help you to get to know the host community, your local support system and provide you with a crash course in important cultural norms, so you can adjust to school and host family life!

FOREIGN LANGUAGE: DANISH

Basic Danish language skills are required. We encourage applicants to study the language prior to arrival in country to ensure a basic conversational level of Danish is known.
