* Included in the 5 and 10 month programs, and an option for short term program students, students kick start the exchange experience with a 5 day language and culture camp in Rosario. Arrive in Rosario at the start of your exchange, meet other exchange students, get a crash course in the language and culture, and do a little sightseeing so that you can start your exchange off right!

For short term programs – 1, 2 and 3 month programs who do not participate in the Rosario camp, you will receive a local orientation in your host community to help you get acquainted with the sights, sounds, and way of life in your local area.

1 Year of language learning required at the time of application for this program. Language lessons may also be necessary once in country at an additional fee should the level of Spanish require this for daily life.

Attend a local public school (private school option may be presented if available).

School Year: School starts in March and ends in December
Common courses: Argentinian schools have one of the following orientations and specialisms: Humanities and Social Sciences, Economy, Biology and Art.
Average hours per week: 25-30 hours of class per week.
Common school holidays: Summer break in January & February, 2-week winter break in July, and statutory holidays.
Fun fact: For most schools in Argentina school is over in the early afternoon!
